I grew up in the town of Framingham, Massachusetts.  The word "town" is truly a misnomer, since Framingham has about 70,000 residents and could easily be classified as a city. However, we have chosen to remain a town, with our preference to have a citizen-run form of government.  This suburb of Boston is surprisingly diverse.  This diversity led my elementary school to enact a pioneer two-way bilingual program, of which I was a participant.  We would learn for half the day in Spanish and half in English, with half the students being native English Speakers, and half native Spanish speakers.  I studied Spanish all the way until the twelfth grade, and this program proved to be a truly enriching experience.

Along my journey through the Framingham School System I developed a passion for politics and leadership.  I was class president of my high school for all four years, and participated in various Model Congress Government events.  In my senior year of high school, I was selected to be the Massachusetts delegate of the United States Senate Youth Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Hearst Foundation.  This is one of the most prestigious honors that a high school student can achieve.  I travelled to Washington D.C. along with delegates from every state in the country, for an all expenses paid, week long trip to our nation's capital to experience government hands-on.  During this incredible trip, we went to the White House to meet President Bush, the Supreme Court and heard from Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, the Pentagon to hear Donald Rumsfeld, and we met our Senators at a special reception.

I had many choices for college, but when it came time to pick, I decided to attend a school on the rise in a place where I thought I would be the happiest, and that turned out to be the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.  I loved UM, and excelled there.  I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Business Administration degree, and from the University's General Honors Program. My major was Finance my minor was Accounting. Because of my love of alma mater, I chose to participate in organizations that would further its success.  I was a member of the Honor Council, to help preserve the University's academic integrity, a Student Government Senator, making changes to better student life on a day to day level, and an Ambassador and Peer Counselor for the Business School, to welcome and acclimate incoming students to college life.  I was also a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity.

In choosing a law school, I couldn't possibly abandon the University of Miami, where I had been so happy, so I stayed!  I thrived in law school as well, graduating with Cum Laude Honors.  My upbringing as the son of a school teacher and a medical social worker, led me to choose a field of law that would reflect the ideal of serving others, which my parents instilled in me.  For that reason, I am at The Amlong Firm where I can fight to protect people's Civil Rights and assist those who have been treated unfairly.

In my personal life, I am a sports fanatic, especially for UM Football.  I have not missed a Canes home game in eight years, and have travelled with the team to Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Virginia, Georgia, and more.
